If there's food, I'm happy!


Food can actually alter our emotions. I have some irrefutable proof that it is true. You wanna know why? If you are sad because your boyfriend broke up with you out of nowhere, and you ate the biggest pot you can find of your favorite ice cream flavor, then you would stop crying. In the end, you would be less sad than you used to be. You will remain a little bit blue, but it actually modifies your mood, at least a little, for the better. So, if you are sad, EAT!
I do think that food is the best response to deal with problems. It doesn't affect anybody and is easier than going to therapy. So next time that you are crying for hours while you watch a romance movie where the love interest ends up in a coma. Add to that mix a big bowl of ice cream, and everything will get better. If you don't like ice cream –Do know that I'm judging you a lot for that– you can change it to any other food, preferably a sweet one. You will have that same effect. 


This is an ironic take, of course. But I do think there is a little bit of truth in my investigation. I claim that food makes us happy, and that isn't necessarily false. We feel better because calories are energy, and we stop being grumpy when we aren't hungry. So, in reality, is it that bad to try it out? I do eat sweets when I'm sad, and it works for me. I really hope that if you, reader, try it out, it works as well as it does for me.
